Having worked for a number of years in education as an ASN specialist teacher, gaining qualifications and experience in pupil support, inclusive education policy and practice, and leading inclusive education, Elise has now completed a PhD in Applied Autism Studies.

Although a teacher by profession, Elise has worked across multiple sectors including child care, sport and fitness, hospitality, retail and sales. As a neurodivergent and disabled adult Elise has also had to navigate multiple barriers across these sectors and beyond, leading to a passion for ensuring that businesses and organisations beyond her specialist area of education are also compliant with disability legislation and human rights conventions.
